A little chérie in a sea of people…
It’s so cold already in Copenhagen that these memories seem distant, when they are actually pretty recent. In the end of August, I spent my holidays in Algarve, Portugal, where I took these photos. I can still feel the sunshine and the smell of the sea just by looking at them!
This is an official goodbye to summer! While in Portugal summer continues, in Denmark the cold came to stay. So, I share with you one of my last holiday memories in Portugal; a look that transitions to autumn and leaves behind the long days and warm summer nights. My classes have also returned and I can’t believe this is the last year of my masters!
I have finally put together the ultimate 3-day Copenhagen itinerary! These are the most important places that you have to see when you visit this beautiful Scandinavia capital.
This look was inspired by the iconic David Bowie suit for the Aladdin Sane tour in 1973. The jumpsuit black and white stripes and curvy lines can be seen in the skirt I’m wearing and the platform shoes definitely remind us of David Bowie’s.
This is probably one of the looks that meets my daily style the most: jeans, a t-shirt and the iconic Cortez sneakers by Nike. These sneakers were the big inspiration for this look. They were designed in 1968 and first appeared in the Olympic Games of 1972 in Munich.
We are already in the wedding and baptism season! When I was in Portugal in June I went to my cousin’s baptism and with that came the hard task of choosing a dress. I wanted something that I could wear in other occasions and even more casual ones during summer.
Spring seems to have found its way to Portugal and forgot about Denmark and I’m sure that Summer must get lost on its way here too. Despite the weather, Copenhagen is still a colourful and vibrant city! I’ve been loving living here!
Today I bring you another café in Copenhagen for this blog series. I found Repos by chance, when I was going to another place for brunch at Sønder Boulevard on a Sunday. The café I wanted to go to was full and Repos was an amazing surprise!
I love the 80’s: from music to fashion and big hair! I feel really inspired by this decade and so I’ve decided to create a look influenced by the big parties of that time!
Yesterday I had the chance to see the Viktor & Rolf X Zalando runway show at the Nobis Hotel in Copenhagen. This partnership resulted in the Re:Cycle project that promotes the recycling of fabrics.
